DARK examines how much active darkness a surface can hold while still remaining calm. Each painting is crossed by a single neutral straight line — a constant against which the weight and tension of darkness can measure itself.

The series moves through controlled variations, testing when the dark stays stable and bearing, and when it collapses. The surfaces are built slowly, in layers, until the painting becomes not an image but a condition.

I'm interested in what makes darkness tolerable — what kind of counterbalance different darkness demands, and what is required to turn pressure into quiet.

AIR explores air as interruption: veils, gaps, and soft breaks that create distance without emptiness — a calm that is held, not decorative.
